"Some years ago when escorting our annual migration Safari to the Masai Mara I visited the two primary schools that we help with sponsorship and bursaries. At one of the schools which simply does not have the resources to offer art as a class, I came across a boy called Eric, who even then had sketches in his workbook that came close to the quality of pieces I've seen hanging in galleries. He was keen not to be destined to spending the rest of
his life herding goats on the dusty plains. I was determined to help him make the best
of his natural talent".
